Less than two months after he was shot in an attempted robbery, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall will make his NFL debut in Sunday's Week 8 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed on Friday.

A first-round pick from Florida who began his career at Arizona State, Pearsall was selected at No. 31 overall this past spring. He had a breakout senior season with the Gators in 2023, leading the team with 965 yards on 65 catches to go with six total touchdowns.
