A Michigan State University student from Metro Detroit has been charged in connection with allegedly posting a threat against the school on social media. Hope Duncan, 18, was arraigned Friday in Ingham County on felony charges of false report of threat of terrorism and using a computer to commit a crime, records show.

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A “person of interest” has been taken into custody on Wednesday for threats made toward Michigan State University. According to MSU Police and Public Safety, officials heard of anonymous online threats around 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
