The record label behind Taylor Swift plans to launch a U.S. offering of some shares owned Bill Ackman’s Pershing Square, as the hedge-fund billionaire pushes for a U.S. listing.

Universal Music Group NV has agreed to plan a US share sale by Sept. 15, in order to fulfill an agreement with billionaire Bill Ackman’s hedge fund Pershing Square.

Universal Music Group has canceled all of its Grammy-related events, including the Saturday artist showcase and the Sunday after-Grammy party, and will use the money instead for Los Angeles wildfire relief.

Los Angeles in the past week, Universal Music Group (UMG) announced it is canceling all of the company’s Grammy-related events, including its artist showcase and after-Grammy party, and will instead “redirect the resources that would have been used for those events to assist those affected by the wildfires.

Grammy Awards are slated to take place on the ceremony’s original date of Feb. 2 and sources say the Clive Davis party is still on.
