Police said he has an "extensive criminal history" that includes prior convictions for fleeing from police and drug possession.

A 33-year-old man is facing felony charges after a police chase in Warren ended in a crash that injured a police officer and the man's 12-year-old daughter.

"It is virtually unprecedented for officers to encounter a fleeing suspect with their own child in the car," police said.
