Ariana Grande apologized to actor Cassandra Peterson — better known as horror movie host Elvira, Mistress of the Dark — after Peterson described feeling snubbed after meeting Grande years ago.

Horror hostess character actress Elvira, real name Cassandra Peterson, recently went viral for saying at a a Knotts Berry Farm event that one of her worst celebrity encounters occurred when Grande brought a large group of friends and family to an Elvira performance and then refused to take a photo with Peterson.

Fans caught on to the singer's curiously worded apology after Elvira had called the singer out for supposedly being disrespectful.
