Talismanic pacer Jasprit Bumrah was chosen for the BCCI's Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer 2023-24 in men's category while elegant batter Smriti Mandhana was picked for the corresponding women's trophy in the Board's annual honours that will be presented in Mumbai.

Pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah was picked for the BCCI's Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer 2024-24 in men's discipline, whereas opening batter Smriti Mandhana clinched the same for women.

Jasprit Bumrah and Smriti Mandhana were the stars of the Indian cricket last year. Bumrah was named the ICC Cricketer of the Year and Test Cricketer of the Year, while Mandhana was awarded the Women's ODI Cricketer of other Year Award.

The BCCI will give a special award to Ravichandran Ashwin who retired from international cricket in December 2024. Sachin Tendulkar will also be getting a Lifetime Achievement award.
