A Barrow County grand jury returned murder and assault indictments Thursday against Colt Gray and his father in the deadly Apalachee High shooting.

ATLANTA (AP) — A grand jury indicted both a father and son on murder charges Thursday in a mass shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia.

Formal charges were filed Thursday in the September 4th Winder, Georgia, school shooting against the father and the son who had warned his parents he should be in a mental institution.

Two students and two teachers were killed and others injured in the Sept. 4 attack at Apalachee High School in Winder, Ga.

A grand jury indicted a 14-year-old alleged shooter and his father who bought him the gun on Thursday in the September slaying of two students and two teachers at a Georgia high school, affirming initial charges brought by prosecutors and adding numerous other criminal counts.
