The Hurricanes got their postseason started early on Friday with a home win over Mount Everett in the Class C quarterfinals.
Led by Terri Miller Jr.'s 15 points, the Portland State Vikings defeated the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks 58-46. The Vikings are now 15-10 with the victory and the Lumberjacks dropped to 14-12.
