Devajit Saikia, the newly-elected secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), recently addressed the speculation surrounding Indian men's team captain Rohit Sharma’s visit to Pakistan ahead of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025.

According to reports, Rohit Sharma is set to travel to Pakistan for a photoshoot with the ICC Champions Trophy.

BCCI newly-elected secretary Devajit Saikia gave an update on Rohit's participation regarding the captains' meet. When asked about Rohit's chances of going to Pakistan for the event, Saikia said that the board hasn't received any such proposal.

The Indian team for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is yet to be announced. The Rohit Sharma-led India will play all their games in Dubai instead of Pakistan including the knockouts, provided the Men in Blue qualify.
