Hundreds of flights delayed, canceled at Denver International Airport Sunday
DENVER — More than 400 flights were delayed at the Denver International Airport on Saturday as the city experiences foggy conditions ahead of a winter storm. As of 1 p.m., a total of 431 flights have been delayed and 20 have been canceled, according to FlightAware.
A ground stop was issued at Denver International Airport due to low ceilings, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
DIA will no longer take cash payments to leave the garages. Passengers will have to use credit card kiosk machines to exit.
