The former championship teammates will find themselves sharing the floor just two weeks after being separated by L.A.'s blockbuster Luka Doncic trade.

The Lakers had been in the market for a big man, although names such as Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner floated around. The need for a center grew after the Lakers traded away Davis, and they filled that void by landing Williams in the deal with the Hornets.

Center Anthony Davis was traded to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night in a deal that sent guard Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers. Davis has yet to make his Mavericks debut as he's been dealing with an abdominal muscle strain and hasn't played since Jan. 28.
