PINE BLUFF, Ark. – As temperatures begin to drop, the American Red Cross is sounding the alarm about fire safety at home. The Red Cross teamed up with the Pine Bluff Fire Department to install smoke detectors for free Saturday morning. The Red Cross said working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death in a home fire by half.
