Apologies to everyone who's been shipping these two, but Naomi Osaka and her boyfriend Cordae have officially gone their separate ways. The tennis star announced the breakup herself in a statement posted to her Instagram Stories, noting that there's "no bad blood" between her and the rapper.

Osaka’s breakup announcement also comes a couple of days after she suffered an abdominal injury while playing the final of a WTA tournament in Auckland. The tournament, which took place on Sunday January 5, led to the athlete dropping out of the finals.

In a post to her stories, Osaka revealed that her and her rapper boyfriend Cordae — with whom she shares a nearly two-year-old daughter named Shai — have decided to call it quits after five years. The couple had been together since 2019.
