On Monday, Coastal Carolina fired their offensive coordinator, Travis Trickett. Trickett graduated from West Virginia and was a student assistant under Rich Rodriguez from 2003 to 2007. He was an offensive graduate assistant at Alabama and Florida State before he got a job at Samford as a slot receivers/tight ends coach in 2011.

Travis Trickett, who has worked as offensive coordinator for the Chanticleers since 2022, has been fired following the team's 4-3 start to the season. CCU ranks 43rd nationally in scoring with 32 points per game,

Coastal is No. 43 nationally in scoring offense through the season's first two months, averaging almost 32 points per game. But Tim Beck's Chanticleers are just 4-3 on the season and have dropped three of their last four games. Beck, a former offensive coordinator, is resuming his play-calling duties.
