The Eagles released their final list of inactive players for the regular season, and Saquon Barkley is among the 11 players sitting out for rest. Cam Jurgens and Mekhi Becton are the only starters on the offensive line, while the entire skill position groups on offense are resting.

Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is officially inactive in Week 18. We already knew Barkley wasn’t going to play in this game. He finishes the regular season with 2,005 yards, just 100 behind Eric Dickerson’s all-time single-season record.

So I caught some heat from a few members of the “Me First” Eagles’ fanbase for coming down hard on them for what I deemed unparalleled idiocy and over-reaction culture with regards to their response to the Eagles decision to rest most of their starters this weekend including Saquon Barkley,
