Signify, manufacturer of Philips Hue, announced at CES 2025 that LG TVs carrying webOS 24 onwards, including some of the best TVs of 2024 such as the LG C4 OLED TV, will now have access to the Philips Hue Sync TV app.

Philips Hue has just announced its first generated AI-powered assistant to its Hue app. As part of its CES 2025 showcase, Philips Hue has also unveiled new home security features, including smoke alarm sound detection, and its Philips Hue Sync TV app now supports LG TVs.

As of now, there's not an exact release date for the AI assistant, but Philips Hue states it will become available this year. It should be compatible with all of its lights. Other companies have created similar products, such as iConnectHue, which added AI-powered "magic scenes" in early 2023.
