This is the 108th year of Girl Scouts selling cookies, and now, they are being sold across the Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways (GSNYPENN) footprint in CNY and spanning 24 counties in NY & two in Northern Pennsylvania.

River Valley Girl Scouts cookie season is on the way and one cookie is on its way out the door ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Girl Scout cookie season is just a few weeks away and troops are busy getting ready to sell. Girls Scouts River Valley CEO Marisa Williams said the girls are always looking for new ways to find and attract more customers.

Scout officials said by participating in the sales, the girls learn about decision making, goal setting, money management, people skills, and business ethics.

"It's one of our four pillars, right? Entrepreneurship. So Girl Scouts learn everything there is to learn about entrepreneurship through selling cookies."

If Mallory Dancy knocks on your door, more than likely you're going to be ordering some Girl Scout cookies. Last year, the 8-year-old sold more than 2,000 boxes of Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs and more.
