Officials are asking people to avoid the roads still open near the fire areas if possible, especially in West Los Angeles.

Caltrans District 7, which serves Los Angeles and Ventura counties, shared on X Wednesday various freeway and highway closures “due to fires or wind-related incidents” in the area it serves. Here’s what is closed and opened as of 10 a.m. Wednesday due to wildfires and weather events, according to Caltrans.

Firefighters are battling several major fires that include the Palisades Fire west of Los Angeles, the Eaton Fire north of Pasadena, and the Hurst Fire in the San Fernando Valley.
