12 Canada geese found dead in Mount Pleasant taken by state DEC for avian flu testing
Mount Pleasant officials said 12 Canada geese found dead at a pond in a park were taken by the state Department of Environmental Conservation for testing. The birds were found Sunday, Feb. 2, at Carroll Park, on Rollings Hill Road in the Thornwood hamlet. The town has also notified the county Department of Health.
