Ariana Grande might have some explaining to do after her recent encounter with Cassandra Peterson, who’s best known for her character Elvira. Fans slammed the “thank u, next” singer for dismissing the horror icon.

Ariana Grande apologized to Elvira (Cassandra Peterson) for allegedly snubbing her years ago. Elvira is back at Knott’s Scary Farm, and at a fan Q&A, she was asked about any encounters with other celebrities.

Peterson, 73, who often hosts live shows at Knott’s Berry Farm, told the story at her “Yours Cruelly, Elvira XXperience” Q&A session. She shared a video clip Sunday from the event on Instagram (see the last slide in the post below).
