Samsung's affordable Galaxy Z Flip FE should launch in 2025, and we have another leak seemingly confirming its existence.

It's sounding like Samsung's rumored Galaxy Z Flip FE may end up using the same display as 2024's Flip 6, rather than a new panel.

The latest news about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 seems to confirm what we already think we know about the 2025 foldable.

We’ve started hearing a few rumors about the so-called Galaxy Z Flip FE, which is rumored to be a more affordable version of the Galaxy Z Flip 6. While a lot of cheaper variants of flagship phones come with some disappointing downgrades,

There’s no word on whether the cover screen on the Z Flip FE will match the Z Flip 6. However, to keep costs low and make the Z Flip FE distinct from the flagship foldable, Samsung might include a smaller display. Other expected specs include 12GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and support for Galaxy AI features.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be Samsung's first foldable phone to use Exynos chips, and the more affordable Z Flip FE will follow the same path.

Display analyst Ross Young revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE will instead use the display panel from the Galaxy Z Flip6.

For reference, the display in the current Galaxy Z Flip 6 is a foldable Dynamic LTPO AMOLED screen. It has a 1080 x 2640 resolution, features a 120Hz refresh rate, and offers HDR10+ and 2,600 nits of peak brightness. With fairly thin bezels and a hole-punch camera cutout, it's one of the best clamshell foldable screens available to date.
