Thomas Tuchel is making waves as he begins his new role as head coach of England, and he’s eyeing some familiar faces from Chelsea to help build his backroom team. One

Thomas Tuchel has been appointed as the new head coach of the England men's team, a role he will take on from Jan. 1 and into the 2026 World Cup. The former Chelsea and Bayern Munich boss becomes the third foreign-born coach of the Three Lions and the first from Germany.

Tuchel begins as England boss on January 1, though the ex-Bayern Munich manager could be forced to have some tough talks with a series of players before that date. According to The Telegraph, the FA are in talks for the Three Lions to play two end-of-season friendlies next summer in the United States.
