Detroit Lions passing game coordinator Tanner Engstrand is heading to the New York Jets. Engstrand will follow new Jets head coach Aaron Glenn, who has been Detroit’s defensive coordinator for the last four seasons.

The Jets reportedly also are hiring Chuck Harris as defensive backs coach and defensive passing games coordinator and Aaron Curry as linebackers coach.

The Jets have agreed to hire Tanner Engstrand as their next offensive coordinator. The agreement between the team and the former passing-game coordinator for the Lions was first reported by KRPC 2 in Houston.
