Nearly five years ago, Maserati announced plans to build both electric and internal combustion versions of its then-new MC20 supercar. The V-6 model has been available for years, but its battery electric equivalent, the MC20 Foglore, still has not debuted. Now, according to a report from Autocar, it never will.

First announced in 2020 when the gas-powered MC20 was unveiled, the Folgore version was supposed to arrive this year, but now it will never see the light of day.
