Infosys, India's second-largest IT services provider, reported better-than-expected third-quarter revenue on Thursday, aided by a pickup in demand in its banking and financial services vertical, and raised its full-year revenue forecast.

IT major Infosys Ltd on January 16 reported net profit of Rs 6,806 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 as against Rs 6,106 crore in the year-ago period. According to a Moneycontrol poll of nine brokerages, the IT major's Q3FY25 profit was pegged at Rs 6,734 crore and revenue at Rs 41,206 crore.

( MENAFN - IANS) New Delhi, Jan 16 (IANS) IT major Infosys on Thursday reported 11.5 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 6,806 crore in the third quarter (Q3) this fiscal, from Rs 6,106 crore in the year-ago period.

Indian IT giant Infosys has reported an 11.4% year-on-year (YoY) rise in its net profit for the third quarter of FY25. The company's net profit stood at ₹6,806 crore, up from ₹6,106 crore a year ago. This is higher than the ₹6,734 crore estimate projected by a Moneycontrol poll of nine brokerages.

IT services major Infosys on Thursday reported an 11.46 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹6,806 crore in the October-December quarter of FY25. The company had posted a profit of ₹6,106 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

Revenues for YTD Dec24 grew at 3.9% year on year in constant currency and in reported terms. Operating margin was at 21.2%, increase of 0.3% year on year, as per the filing.

Infosys upgraded its FY25 revenue growth guidance to 4.5-5 per cent in constant currency (CC) terms from 3.75-4.5 per cent. It maintained its margin guidance at 20–22 per cent.
