Sir Elton John's career-spanning greatest hits collection, Diamonds, has reached number one - after 374 weeks on the charts. Featuring signature songs like Tiny Dancer, I'm Still Standing and Rocket Man, the 51-track collection has given the star his ninth number one album, at the age of 77.

Sir Elton’s greatest hits compilation is a long-term fixture on the Official Albums Chart – having already logged a total of 325 weeks inside the UK Top 40.   Originally released in 2017, the LP could finally reach the top spot thanks to the release of a super deluxe edition Blu-ray and a limited Bad World diamond-effect LP.
