Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has revoked the appointment of Shrikant Pangarkar, a controversial figure accused in the murder case of journalist Gauri Lankesh, to the Shiv Sena party.

The meeting was convened by Shiv Sena leader and MP Shrikant Shinde. Senior Shiv Sena leaders Milind Deora, Ravindra Waikar, Manisha Kayande, Rahul Shewale and other leaders were present for the meeting.

Mumbai: Just when it seemed that the Mahayvuti was in cruise mode, there has arisen a sudden, vociferous demand by the Shiv Sena to project Chiel Minister Eknath Shinde as the CM face in the upcoming state assembly election.

During the rally on Friday, Shinde Sena MLAs voiced their support for Eknath Shinde as the chief ministerial candidate, a sentiment that was enthusiastically welcomed by the party workers.
