We are an independent, family owned and operated business that has been proudly serving Santa Cruz residents and their families for over 25 years! Marty and Sue Drake started working on Japanese cars and trucks in a small shop on the corner of Seabright Ave and Pine street. Many long time residents remember it as having a little red fire engine on a pole out front that their son Denver used to play with as a child. Back then, fuel injection was new and a lot of cars on the road still had points based ignition, roll up windows, tape players, and vinyl seats. Over the years cars have changed. Dramatically. Now, roll up windows are rare, cassette tape players non existent, and what the heck are “points” anyway?
